Sukkat Shalom Reform Synagogue

On Saturday 7th November 2009, my youngest son Charlie Isaac St George had a Baby Blessing at the Synagogue. It was a beautiful and personal Shabbat Service with many members of my family taking part.

As I stood on the bimah with my husband Michael, my eldest son Thomas and my baby Charlie, I felt an immense sense of pride and when the Rabbi read the blessing for Charlie, I was overcome with emotion.

Thank you to Rabbi Becker and Frank Godson for organising the ceremony but mostly many thanks to all of my family who made this occasion so very very special.

Today was a very special day for us as relatives and friends joined the congregation for our daughter Ella's Baby Blessing. We arrived at Shul feeling anxious as with any toddler they are unpredictable and our little girl is no exception.
