Nina & Jeff Sedley - Golden Wedding

Jeff & Nina Sedley

Congratulations to Nina & Jeff Sedley on their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Nina & Jeff first met at Wanstead County High School, when in their view it was a good grammar school. They also went to the Ilford Jewish Youth club and were founder managers of the Wanstead & Woodford JYC.

These were the two clubs that merged to form the Redbridge Centre. Jeff's father was a founder member of the Wanstead and Woodford Synagogue and they think that their wedding was one of the first marriages there.

Karen & Mike Tiller celebrate their Pearl Wedding

Karen and Mike first met at Maccabi Association London in Hampstead in 1975. They used to see each other in the canteen. Karen used to be in the table tennis squad and Mike was in the Olympic weightlifting squad. They used to talk a lot but it took Mike a year to pluck up the courage to ask Karen for a date. Luckily for Mike she accepted.
