We held our Channukah Pantomime at Woodford Progressive due to the problems with the heating at our synagogue on Friday 23rd December.
The evening started at 4.00pm with games, activities, snacks, etc..
This was followed by a ceremony for the lighting of the Chanukkah candles and then a short Erev Shabbat service.
At around 6.15pm the ladies from Solomons Productions performed Sleeping Beauty. It was a very jolly evening attended by over 50 members, family and friends from Sukkat Shalom plus the Woodford Progressive members. I understand that over 150 adults and children attended in total. The synagogue was packed out.
It was by chance that we joined with Woodford Liberal for this event however it made the evening more enjoyable and the children loved it. Lets hope we can do the same next year.
