The Leo Baeck College is unique – training Rabbis, leaders and teachers to develop Progressive Jewish congregations and communities throughout the UK – for the 21st century. The Leo Baeck College reaches out to support the growth of today’s Jewish communities across Europe and beyond. It is the first College in Europe to train Rabbis from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe – who are then able to return to lead their home communities.

Through their Department of Education & Professional Development, the Leo Baeck College is helping to establish a new cadre of professionals for our synagogues, youth movements, schools and other organisations. The College nurtures Jewish communities and schools in religious leadership and moral guidance – relevant to the way we live now.
