Sukkat Shalom Reform Synagogue

On Sunday the 28th of February 2010, we gathered at Sukkat Shalom Synagogue to celebrate the festival of Purim. At the beginning, there was a short service, and then we read the story of Purim. Some adults came up to the Bimah to read a chapter each from the Megilah. We all booed and made lots of noise when Haman's name was mentioned. After the reading was finished, the children performed a musical version of the Purim story called Mordi Malone, and then we all had Hamantaschen and Chollah with 100's and 1000's sprinkled all over. It was a fantastic day!
