Erev Shabbat Service Friday 17th June

Frank Godson - Honorary Life President

The Erev Shabbat Service on Friday, 17 June 2011

Was followed by a discussion on “ The Bible & Freemasonary”

The Discussion was lead by Frank Godson.

It was an interesting talk and discussion which was enjoyed by all present.

Whilst trying to concentrate on the topic Frank was continuously accosted on the role of women in Freemasonry which did rather spoil it for most people there.

For those that were interested in the main topic Frank has agreed to cover the topic again the in very near future.

Sukkat Shalom Celebrates its 30th Year

Cake for 30th Anniversary

January 8th 2011 Shabbat Service

Firstly I would like to congratulate the Wardens on organising this service and managing to give an alyah to all of those that have been involved with the synagogue since its Founding.

Imagine it .......... we are still an active synagogue and growing after 30 years of existence.
I use the word imagine because John Lennon was assassinated just about 30 years ago just before this synagogue was founded and I was a huge Beatle fan. The song “Help” was hummed by me on many occasions during this period.
